| Description of the problem | I was on a snow covered road in my neighborhood driving about 10-15 mph and attempted to make a right turn. The car kept going straight and slid off the road. The esp stability control and abs failed to operate at that point. This was after a recent reprogramming by the dealer. This function had operated correctly all winter prior to that event. The esp light did not flash like it normally does in that situation. There could have been a car coming the other way and i would have hit them due to this failure. No error lights were displayed by the car. The car got hung up on a big rock that was in someone's yard as a result of the incident. I did not report to the police since it was just me and no apparent damage to the yard, only to my car underneath. |
